Brand, logo and Interior Elements
The Blondin Restaurant branding and design features heavily on the location and history of the quarry. The name and main branding element 'Blondin' was a type of slate truck lifting pulley named after a tightrope walker from France who famously crossed the Niagra Gorge on a tightrope in the 1800's. The Blondin itself was redrawn from a photgraph of a blondin that is still suspended on a cable in Dinorwig Quarry.
As we were involved from the start of the build this was a great opportunity to integrate the graphics of the interior design and signage within the building.
